Built and managed by MyNiche Apartments, the Creative Director wanted to lean into the apartment’s location on Bull Street, so The Matadora was born. The branding is bold and empowering. ¿Quién es La Matadora?
—– WHO IS THE MATADORA?
During times of bullfighting, The Matadora would disguise herself as a Matador, draw the bulls in with her bold red mark, and release them to freedom.
Now, you may know that Savannah is well-known as one of the most haunted cities in the U.S. Bedecked in Spanish moss eerily drooping from its many live oak trees, Savannah is a place of history, intrigue, and ghost stories. It’s no surprise, therefore, that The Matadora’s spirit — alive and well— lives on Historic Bull Street.
The Matadora is still very much alive, watching over defenseless souls and empowering us all to live boldly.
If ever you find yourself wandering the halls of The Matadora property, and notice a mysterious, bold red mark, do not be alarmed. It’s simply her reminding you to grab life by the horns and leave your mark on this world.
